Fancy tying the knot in a stunning and historic Sussex Manor House for FREE?
Southover Grange is a beautiful 16th Century Manor House, with gorgeous grounds in the picturesque East Sussex town of Lewes, nestled amongst the South Downs. It is re-opening its doors following a two year £1.5 million refurbishment by East Sussex County Council.
To celebrate, couples are being offered the chance to win their wedding ceremony for FREE at this newly refurbished Sussex wedding venue and register office, on its opening day, Saturday, April 29 2017.
The competition is also open to those planning a civil partnership ceremony, renewal of marriage vows or a baby-naming ceremony. Each ceremony will be held on the opening day.
Councillor Chris Dowling, county council lead member for community services, said:
“The restoration has breathed new life into a stunning period building while maintaining its unique character. This competition will allow people to be part of history and for their ceremony to be the first of its kind at the newly-refurbished venue.”
The lucky winners will win their wedding ceremony at Southover Grange, free of charge on the opening day, with a registrar officiating and up to 55 guests able to attend.
Cllr Dowling added: “We’re delighted to be in a position where we’re now taking bookings for ceremonies and celebrations at Southover Grange, which will provide a fantastic backdrop.”
Other services available to book at Southover Grange include: a new VIP suite for use before ceremonies, drinks toasts for the guests and a wedding reception venue within the building. Bookings are already being taken.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning your wedding ceremony at this beautiful Sussex Manor House is write a page (of no more than one side of A4) explaining why you think you should win your ceremony and email it to Carole Bailey on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The closing date for this competition is March 1st 2017 so don’t hang about!
